Castello Risolo, stands in the main square of Specchia, a fortified building built in the 16th century. Initially, the Risolo Castle was an isolated structure, later it was incorporated into other buildings. Thanks to it and other local beauties, Specchia has earned the prestigious title of "Most Beautiful Village in Italy" and "Jewel of Italy".
Today Castello Risolo is divided into three sections: the common part, where every year numerous film, art and music exhibitions are organized. The commercial area is a house and a boutique of Salento tradition and finally the residential wing where two very generously sized apartments are placed. The residential area is in a very quiet area with parking and relaxation area, tastefully furnished and with outdoor tables. From here two entrances condono to the two apartments: Frantoio and Scuderia. Scuderia is revealed with a vast open space that houses the living area composed of a kitchen and an island equipped with the latest generation services, a wooden table that dominates the large hall, which is equipped with a sofa bed and a flat-screen TV. Scuderia has two rooms with a double bed, the first accessible via a staircase, while the second is continuing the corridor that connects the living area. Everything is served by a new bathroom and services including sink and shower.
The accommodation is located in a really strategic position, in fact, it is found in an equidistant way from all the most famous seaside and city resorts of the lower Salento. The Palazzo Protonobilissimo Risolo colomba was identified by the Medieval Old Town with narrow streets closed to traffic and interrupted by flights of stairs, which contain a charm that will leave you speechless structure, the Church of Sant'Eufemia, the Crypt of the Madonna del Step carved into the rock, the hypogeum oil mills and the last but not for importance and beauty, the fantastic village of Cardigliano, just a few km from the hotel.
